Welcome
"It
will be my duty and pledge to ensure that as a
Delegate elected
by the
people of the 18th District,
I
will represent the people and not special
interests."
"The
perseverance to excel, and commitment to the
rights of the people are
what is necessary to
meet the expectations of our citizens'."
~ Joseph S. Sinagra
NJ 18th District Assembly Candidate

I am
running for the New Jersey State Assembly
because the people of the 18th District
deserve an assemblyman who represents their
views and ideals, not just those of a
particular political party. Someone whose
decisions and actions match what they say in
the district.
As a father, a
husband, and family man I will bring the
values and interests of common sense,
representing hard
working citizens like you with me to the New
Jersey Assembly. As a prior small business
owner of several businesses, I understand and
have dealt with many of the critical issues
facing our state including, education, health
care, crime and economic development and take the
job of representing you and your family
seriously. I hope to get a chance to meet
many of you throughout the district as I knock
on your doors, as I have in the past. I look
forward to making a positive impact for the
people of the 18th District and would be
honored to have your support.
As a
candidate for US Congress in 2006 I received
over 35% of the vote with campaign spending of
less than $5000. This is the same fiscal
responsibility I will bring to the Assembly
and the people.
I am
running for the State Assembly because of New
Jersey's soaring property taxes, rising health
care costs. Issues such as the naming of a
state dirt, lotteries to get people to vote
make a mockery of our legislative system, when
there are so many real concerns that affect all
of us. Issues such as the impact of illegal
immigration on our economy, eminent domain
must be addressed; school contingency plans
need to be made public in the event of a
crisis. The responsibility chemical plants
have to our schools and children and the
protection of our neighborhoods in preventing
a catastrophic event. Homeland Security must
be addressed.
I look
forward to participate with your legislature
in finding solutions that would strengthen our
economy, providing a stable tax revenue with
the burden fairly distributed, ensure
universal access to affordable healthcare for
all those in the State, and work towards
providing affordable housing for our seniors
and young families.
