Biography
Joe
Sinagra has been a resident of
Middlesex
County
for 60 years. Growing up in North
Brunswick and Milltown, he has resided
in Helmetta for the past 31 years.
He is
married to the former Patricia Genito
for 37 years.
Together
they have three children they are very
proud of. Their sons Joe, Jr. and
Jeff who was a member of both the Marine
Honor Guard and Silent Drill Team.
During his enlistment Jeff passed
away through an unfortunate accident.
Their daughter Michele enlisted and also
served in the United States Marine
Corps.
Joe was
a member of 1st Air Commando Wing (TAC)
in the United States Air Force.
After
being discharged from the United States
Air Force, Joe served as an apprentice
to become a printer with a central
Jersey newspaper.
Attending
Middlesex and
Union
Colleges
for Business Management, he became
Plant Manager for a commercial printing
company.
Joe was
elected to the Helmetta Borough Council
in 1989 and served until 1998. In 1999
he was asked to return to fill in for a
one year un-expired seat. For
seven of those ten years Joe was Council
President, serving as a member of the
Planning Board, a former Emergency
Management coordinator, Sanitation
Committee Chair, and Drug Alliance
Committee Member.
He is the current Helmetta Republican
Vice-Chairman, past Chairman, and was
a candidate for Middlesex County Clerk,
and 12th District Congressional
Candidate.
He has
owned two businesses, an auto supply
store, a service station convenience
store, and is current CEO of My Plumber,
Inc.
Joe is
employed at Miele, Inc. located in
Princeton
,
NJ
, as Facilities Manager.
Joe
believes there is only one way to change
things, and that is to represent the
people and understanding what it is they
want, getting involved and working
hard for a better government.
He is a
fighter and will continue the fight
against bureaucratic red tape in
government.
As your
elected Assemblyman he will do
everything possible to represent
the values of the citizens of the 18th
District.
He will
fight to help small businesses provide
employee healthcare.
As your
Assemblyman, Joe will fight for fiscal
responsibility, individual freedoms, and
conservative values.
